The Dos Bocas Dam was constructed between the 1940 at 1942
by Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority for hydroelectric
generation. It has not had structural changes or
improvements in the structures from his construction. Puerto
Rico Sewer and Water Supply Authority uses water as this dam
for the project of Superacueducto. The dam level is
determined by the pluvial precipitation and the generation
in the plants Dos Bocas and Caonillas. There is a service of
boats and wharf provided by the government for the residents
of the borders of the dam. The level of the lake is
generally maintained the sufficiently high thing to allow
the safe transit of these boats. |
