ANA MARÍA NÚM. II Y ANA MARÍA NÚM. V DAMS

 
LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION


These dams are located to the North of the District Boundary Laurel to 5 miles to the Northeast of the city of Ponce. The water receives it from the Inabón River. The lake Ana Maria Núm. II it is formed by a land dam of 40 feet height and 20 feet of wide. It has a drainage area of 0.38 miles square and capacity of 373 pungent feet until the level of the drain. The lake Ana Maria Núm. V is formed by the land dam of 56 feet of stop and 26 feet of wide. It has an area of pick up of 0.17 miles square and one capacity of 1926.5 pungent feet until the level of the Drain.

 

USE AND HISTORY


These dams were designed and constructed by Serrallés Corporation Engineering Department in 1939. The dams are for provide water for irrigation to property with cane.
